A multi-faceted information systems and technology company
within reach of everyone
CYBERDIAMOND, LLC is now in the High Country of North Carolina, previously based in South Florida from January 3, 1999, then on January 4, 2010, moved to Watauga County, NC. We love working and living in an inspiring location.
Jack L. Galvan started CyberDiamond after running it as a part-time computer repair and website design business while working as a full time Legal Investigator and database administrator for a large southeast Florida Sheriff's Office. Part-time became a full time job and he left the Sheriff’s Office in 2000 to allow more time to grow CyberDiamond and expand services.
Jack has a Master’s of Science in Information Systems, a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology and certifications, which include MCSE, MCP+I and CompTIA A+ certifications. Jack is working on his PhD program in Information Systems at Northcentral University and working toward his Doctoral Degree. He was the CTO of a Market Research company based in Boca Raton, Florida that catered to Fortune 100 companies; he co-authored and obtained several U.S. Patents for the organization. Moreover, Jack designed and developed their entire IT Department from the ground up and trained the staff as well.
CyberDiamond allowed Jack to pursue his love of technologies; the fast-paced ever-changing environment keeps it new and exciting. Those who know him say that he is an extremely effective teacher, patience and has the ability to explain processes in clear simple terms. As of August 2011, Jack is teaching as an Adjunct Professor at APUS – American Military University and American Public University located in Charles Town, WV, online. It is definitely a talent to be able to teach technical information and make it enjoyable — that’s Jack’s forte`. In June 2012, Jack received the APUS Outstanding New Faculty Member of the Year Award.
Technologies make so many things possible. After a terrible hurricane season in 2004 – 2005 in Florida, Jack, his wife, Laurel and their 2 dogs came to Laurel’s sister’s home in Blowing Rock and Jack worked from this location during those summers. Jack and his wife need a place to work from that is not likely to have interruptions from hurricane damage. In late 2005, they purchased a home in Watauga County as a vacation and hurricane retreat. Quickly realizing there was no need to stay in Florida, as long as they had a high-speed Internet connection they could work from anywhere. They took on renovating the vacation home and in 2010, incorporated CyberDiamond, LLC in North Carolina and the Galvan’s became full time permanent North Carolinians.
CyberDiamond is a special company. They have grown from the ground up by referrals only. CyberDiamond does not advertise. Referrals mostly by word of mouth and those that find us in the phone book in a plain listing have become our clients.
For special events and other business related needs CyberDiamond does travel back to South Florida — meeting with the clients that helped them grow and who have turned into great friends. However, most of the time, it is not necessary; CyberDiamond has worked with clients as far away as Korea, Switzerland, Arizona, New York, California, Florida, Missouri, and Oregon. Location is not important. CyberDiamond has the technology to remotely troubleshoot and repair computers and software issues as long as the client has Internet access; we also offer web-based training and conferencing. This allows us to reach out and be there virtually, communicating just as if we were there in person, exchanging ideas, document sharing and annotation, as well as, recording the session, not a feature always available in true face to face meetings. Our clients have helped us grow and are always amazed on the various services we provide and they have happily referred their friends, family and business clients and acquaintances to us.
As the CEO and CTO, Jack mentions that the biggest factor that has been our core foundation is to have a team that has the proper training, education and experience that is always willing to give 100%. A team that is honest, polite, timely, creative and mindful of clients’ requirements. If you do not know - find out and learn, listen to the client and speak so they understand what you are saying, educate and always give more than the client expects. If you are a CyberDiamond team member, nothing less is acceptable.
CyberDiamond, LLC has launched a new division called Author’s Bridge. This division opened in Spring of 2012 and is there to help writers with their manuscripts, from the story development through publishing and sales. November 17, 2012, we had our first published book, Amarillo Rose by Joss Tallman available on Amazon.com and other distribution and sales channels.
